Don’t know why it would be strange for someone who supposedly blames the blues medical staff for his shoulder surgeries not taking to not thank them. I’ve read other goodbyes where players directly thank the medical staff, especially when they had many injuries while playing for a team.

I really mean it too. I was starting to like this team even before Vova went there. Igor, Breadman, Fox, Kakko, Laffy, Truba, K’Andre… I like these guys. I was rooting for them in the playoffs over Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay last year.
I don’t like all the « We are hockey royalty. You must lick our boots. » crap that comes with O6 teams. The guys on this team though… they are good guys. I like this young group, and how they play hockey.
And I love Vova. I love that Vova is playing with his old friend.
