Stats are based on expected goals, with a minimum of 200 minutes played of 5 on 5. The Canes have four of the top 14 forward lines, and two of those have Svech and Necas on them. We also have three defensive pairings in the top 12.
We had one bad game after over a week off and all the doomers come out. Chill. Freddy didn’t have a great night – expected, goalies don’t do well when they don’t see action. The boy’s puck management was pretty atrocious, as expected – minds wander when you’re not playing the game for a while. All in all, there was some good, and some bad to the game, but nothing we should freak out about. We’re still 1st in the division and have time to get our legs back before next week’s blockbuster event. Lets go canes!
