@Flames de Calgary

    Well I’m glad that trade didn’t go through

    Got Pelletier with that pick but Zucker would have been a massive upgrade on Frolik that season. Would have been interesting.

    Imagine our prospect pool without Pelletier.

    Start calling Tre old mother Hubbard

    It seems weird to me that on a day like the trade deadline, and with GM needing owner approval – that the owner wasn’t available. Also why would an owner actively sabotage his own team? And yeah I understand there are owners like Melnyk (rip) and Dundon that sabotage their own team, but they think that they are helping.

    Lmao this has been reported to have happened twice now, the other being that Treliving had a deal in place for Ben Bishop, which never went through because Ken King (RIP) was unavailable.

    Crazy to think that ownership wasn’t available to give approval on the two most important trade days, draft day and deadline day.

    Our ownership is bottom 5 in the league. Must be frustrating af to work for Murray Edwards.

    Why can’t he just hire the GM to be a GM? Why does he need « approval » ?
