Markstrom was looking over his shoulder after every shot in the last 5min of the third. No feel for the puck.

On the positive side of things, we are in a wildcard spot this morning and got four out of the eight points on the post all-star game road trip. Our only regulation loss was the one right after Andersson got hit by a car.
Of course, Colorado has three games in hand, so that isn’t good.
Silver linings; My kids got to go to bed knowing Calgary was up 3-1.
If we win all those OT games, we’re top of the division

I watched Daryl’s presser after the game and he was like « we dominated, great game for us. » He’s definitely been more headscratching this year.
We need some kind of shakeup. Probably a trade, but we have to do something. The team is still in a playoff spot, so if we can get some help down the stretch that will really go a long way.

Honestly we need to ride vladar down the stretch and let Marky rest up, *if* we make the playoffs, we can see if a well rested and hopefully reset markstrom shows up. Keep him on a short leash and if he can’t get the job done pray that vladdy can, it’s unfair to put that burden on our backup but it’s all we can do at this point
We really needed these « easy » points. That stretch of Colorado Vegas Boston is gonna sewer us.
Positives: like all skaters tonight, Dube and Toffoli are buzzing.
Negatives: minutes 57 and onward
I’ve started hopping on the exercise bike for an hour or so while watching the games. I find it helps with games like these as I don’t tend to about them for too long afterwards. The worst outcome is a Flames loss with a good workout.
