At no least they waited a little longer to suck this year.

I snapchatted my buddy and said I’ll turn it off when it gets bad. I wish I had gone to sleep down 2-0

This is not the same team. They looked clueless the last 3 games. Totally different vibe.
All those slick drop offs are getting blown up.
No one is shooting.
Really discombobulated.
Not sure why we’re shuffling lines.
Get Mitts off the ice. I don’t care if he scored last game. He is on Planet Mars double covering people instead of staying home on his assignment. One of those goals he vacated the area for no apparent reason at all.
No idea why he is in on Special Teams.
He should be stapled to the bench or in the press box for emergency purposes only.

It’s the difference between a good band and a great band.
A talented bunch of young kids put out a couple hits and they’re fun to watch. A little time goes by and all of a sudden it’s not so much fun anymore.
Constant travel, one guy is getting paid more than the others, the label starts amping up expectations, it starts to feel like a high-pressure job and those vibes which pushed you before have all dried up.
This is where a good band releases an album, does the contractually required tour, and then quietly folds up shop. One or two of them move on to better things, and the rest go on to sell insurance or cellphones.
A great band has the moment where there are no vibes left to run on. Each of them looks inward, and asks themselves whether they really want to be there, or if it was just a cool ride they were on that is now over.
In a great band, everyone looks inward and discovers that under the bullshit, there is nowhere else they’d rather be. Then they get up the next day and get back to work.

Can someone tell me how far away we are from being in contention again?

Well, at least this year we made to the All-Star break before the inevitable crash & burn…

Oh no, adversity.

No one overreacts to the ebbs and flows of a season more than Buffalo sports fans. So ridiculous.
