   I think Meier would compliment an Eichel and Stone line perfectly come playoff time. I doubt he could be resigned though, but he’ll be an RFA, so we could recoup assets no problem.

   Timo could be a significant pickup,not gonna lie but what I am concerned with is at what cost. Did Stonie get moved to LTIR? Not to mention, Logi now is concerning

   Timo, as great as he would be in our lineup, will be an absolute pain in the ass to trade for. Not only will he likely cost a lot, but if he’s asking for that kind of extension, the Knights would have to even further stretch what is already a tight cap. Sure with Stone on LTIR (has to be if such a trade would happen), there should be enough space to sign him, but that would also have to mean that Stone’s time in Vegas truly would be done, and Vegas also will have to give up a bunch of assets to a rival team, and that’s something Vegas I doubt has enough of to satisfy San Jose compared to what some other teams might offer, though Timo might have some leverage here in terms of where he would want to get traded to, and if say Vegas is an attractive place to him to play hockey/raise a family, then it might not matter what other teams offer, but who knows what his mentality is.

   I will say this, if Vegas pulls that off, and it doesn’t cost an arm & a leg to do it, Kelly McCrimmon & George McFee will have saved their jobs, because Timo would be almost a perfect replacement for our fallen captain, and would give this team a BRIGHT future with him in the lineup.
