    Leafs need to go all on Chychrun and throw a future 1st round at Chicago for Kane if he will resign to a 3-5 year 4m contract. He is better than Kerfoot will ever be so it's a major upgrade.

    If I was in the gm position I would.only take a first, top prospect and an nhl ready player like the horvat trade… I wouldn't even trade them because the value of keeping them on the team I believe is way higher then getting like bits and pieces….still scratching my head over the ADB trade, Def could of gotten alot more…

    if i were gm and they didnt wanna waive their clauses id just put them on waivers asap lol letthe, finish down in the ahl , id take chances of other teams taking either but doubt it cause its lik 10 mill each lol they gpnna fck the franchise il fck them too .

    This Blackhawks fan would be more than happy to see 19 and 88 finish their careers in Chicago. They earned the right to do whatever they want. I think the media, and their arm chair GM readers/viewers want them traded more than anyone else. Got to have a narrative, I guess. Trading Kane isn't the only way to get draft picks. They also have a ton of cap space at a time when a whole bunch of contenders are up against the ceiling. I won't be surprised if they make another Petr Mrazek-type trade again this year.
