@Canucks de Vancouver

[Irfaan Gaffar] On dirait que Thatcher Demko a subi un revers et a peaufiné quelque chose à l’entraînement jeudi. Les #Canucks ne connaîtront pas toute l’étendue de la blessure avant quelques jours.

Sad for Thatcher. But good news for Team Tank

    *tank noises*

I feel bad for Demko though, hope everything will be ok with him if this is true

  3. julesieee

Demko should just take the L and come back next season when he is 100%.

  4. fuzzyhippo26

Does that mean Martin is coming back? Silovs should keep playing in the AHL to develop.

  5. So we running Delia and Silvos? 2 AHL goalies. That’s a bold strategy.

  6. HogwartsXpress36

Few hours ago Tocchet said Demko was fine lol

  7. radamo96

At this point just shut him down for the season. No sense risking aggravating an injury in meaningless games that we want to lose.

I’m just iffy about believing this, especially after all these reports by the media just to have them be false such as demko not being happy and “recent” talks with Toronto about Myers.

I just don’t believe it unless a guy like dhaliwal confirms it.

Canucks luck folks… or a sign that Bedard is ours oh my!!!!!!

    We’re finishing 3rd.

    Team Tank Forever!

I remember something about us running demko into the ground last season…

  12. Only-Nature7410

Lots of comments about happy helping the tank.
How about the guys health and long term effects. Not a good sign. See you next year man.

Sleeper Cell Tank Agent Demko has been activated

  14. This is what annoys me the most. Season is done, I get that the player wants to play as much as possible, but in situations like these, why doesn’t the org take the sensible decision and shut down the player, let him come back next season stronger. He is an important piece for the future.

  15. theEMPTYlife

Honestly hoping they just shut him down. Tank aside, we’re absolutely screwed if Demko isn’t able to return to form, and have no reason to rush this process. Glad to see even just this amount of care and time being taken, but was kinda surprised he didn’t start out practicing with the Abbey Canucks for a « conditioning stint »

  16. bwoah07_gp2

Just shut him down for the remainder of the season and get him back properly next season.

  17. aknudskov

Not predictable at all, lol #tankharder

  18. This reminds me of when DiPietro needed to be traded to play more games – now he’s in the ECHL rather than probably with the big club after this nows. How ironic

The stars seem to be aligning for us to get a high pick. Hopefully we get a high pick and get a stud Center and then with our other puck get Dman. The future will look a lot brighter all of a sudden.

This team is past needing a rebuild. They have to call a priest to excersize their demons because their house is on cursed graveyard

  21. FarSightXR-20

jesus, i was literally just thinking about this happening this morning, especially after demko seemed kinda unconfident/hesistant in his interview recently. Shut him the fuck down for the rest of the season and let him heal properly. ffs, canucks management. we literally have no reason to have him playing. i guess they wanted to try and get slick rick some wins down the stretch with demko playing, but it’s not going to happen now. just suck hard for bedard and let me die in peace.

  22. ImAnAfricanCanuck

uhg that is fucking terrible…. poor thatcher, he was quite anxious for his return but you could tell it felt really good for him to be back around the playing environment

  23. 21marvel1

4th-6th is looking like a lock at this point.

  24. TheJadedEmperor

« Ah, fuck, I think I pulled my Bedard tendon… take me off, coach »

    -Thatcher Demko, probably

  25. RainDancingChief

His back realized what the next two months were going to look like for him and took a dive to save him
