Il glad we got a few good matches before though it was more than expected. The rest of the season will be tough to watch
The best part is how often the Canucks, Ducks, Hawks, Coyotes, Sharks and Blues seem to be playing each other down the stretch. Meanwhile Montreal is doing two tours through cup contender town.
The leafs and panthers should be swapped for Mtl, and you can’t change my mind.

This really shows the glaring difference between East and West conferences right now. Florida and Ottawa aren’t really « easy » match-ups for us.
FWIW, moneypuck’s point projection predicts a 4th to last position for the Habs. Though anything between 4-7 is possible. It’s a battle between Vancouver, San Jose, Arizona and us.
Doesn’t matter will we do what we always do and pull wins out of our asses with the cards stacked against us. Classic Habs 😅

Not only strength of schedule, the tightness of the schedule is astounding. Back2back games, every other day with travel, etc. leaves basically no rest days or practice time. Injuries mount, fatigue sets in, and players lose their groove.
We did great coming out of the All Star break where we had rest, now the games are catching up to us. These next 10 days are the most rest the team has until the end of the season.

Seeing that Habs logo across for easiest opponents is sad. Kind of funny how good we usually are vs the Leafs, not sure they would consider us an easy opponent lol.
