Classic Dubas. Fucking announcing big news on the Friday of a long weekend. What else is he hiding?

Holy HECK DUBAS WHAT A DEAL. Didn’t even need to shed anyone????????? And Accari is coming along too?? Shit I don’t even know if we’re done then. We still have enough picks and prospects to make something happen on the backend. What a Dubas W.

Jesus Christ I just spilled my beer holy fuck

    There’s clearly another move happening

unless he ends up being like Foligno and is hurt the whole time he’s here, i don’t see a downside to this. ~~50%~~ *75%* retention while only giving up picks … sounds like a fucking W to me

    What’s his salary prolapsed?

  7. Was the double retention necessary for Accari?? Or more space?

1.875M and Acciari is entirely buriable if you needed (or he bumps another buriable contract to the A). That means we still have a large portion of the Muzzin LTIR to play with. They paid for that space, Dubas isn’t done.

I like it. I figured any big move was gonna involve Knies.

That actually leaves a solid 3m to make more moves…

My thoughts here. ROR starts on L2 with JT and Marner. So Matthews-JT-Kampf-Acciari. Give this a look for a couple games before TD and assess from there.

That’s borderline wizardry from Dubas and co

That’s fucking goofy Two Solid, workhorse, gritty forwards for around 3 Mil on the cap with other players that can be traded and the only thing that was sacrificed was this years 1st, next year’s 2nd, a 3rd rounder that was Ottawa’s from the Matt Murray deal, Abramov, Gaudette and a future 4th? Unreal and at this point….. Dubas isn’t done far from it and he still needs to make a defensive upgrade and he might be still looking for a 2LW option. I’m blown away

Time to trade someone for Kane now!

  15. Subject_Address_1626

    Schenn or McCabe next?

Or maybe Kerfoote & Holl + whatever picks are left for Kane & McCabe….with retained salary by Chicago?

I’ve had a couple…wild speculation going on here
