The old guard coaches like that are great at first. They can light a fire under the players asses but that intensity they bring kinda losses efficacy pretty quickly. Players get burnt out on it easily. I just don't know there's a place for guys like him and Torts, etc anymore.

I thought he should have been fired for the comments he made at the end of the game when he embarrassed himself by trying to put down Pelletier….a rookie playing his first game….how pathetic is Sutter.

I think he should be canned. At the end of the day treliving needs huberdeau to work out more than he needs to keep sutter happy and the first step is finding a different coach who can possibly tap into the player we know he can be, it appears Darryl isn’t capable of that right now.
You forgot Geoff Ward. I feel like Bob Hartley was the last best motivator they had and he was Feaster's hire.
It's one of two things: The personnel in Cgy just doesn't fit into Sutter's grindey style of play or Sutter's style of play is too slow to keep up with today's game…
Weird how you never hear about Kirk Muller being up for head coach.
Kings fan here: The Kings players were REALLY sick of the guy, what, like the season after winning their 2nd cup? or whatever? As a Kings fan I am still sick of the guy. (except I do miss his son Chris at the games).
