That's so pretty , proud to be a Detroiter
A beautiful fan base, we're lucky
That's awesome!
ROCK, ANTHEM! 😉
Look at all those empty seats in the lower bowl.
from The Olympia to The Joe was a moment in my childhood, the Joe to LC is one for my brothers kids. Detroit Hockey forever
I'm a blues fan and hate the red wings but love this
Just another Cathedral and sports to meet its maker, the Ilitch destroying Joe Louis Arena to go to sterile Little Caesars Arena, Monahans destroying Tiger Stadium for Comerica Park where there's no character no interest no history. No Connection to the Past no connection to your father your grandfather who went to and then took you to the games, so you can then share those moments in those memories with your kids. How great let's demolish the big house next
I once told someone I was in Detroit. They said, “Sounds like a Journey song.” That led me to this touching video!
where ever u sat at the joe u could see everything, god i miss it
The Pyro Reminds me of A WWE Intro
I was lucky enough to be able to see 4 games at the Joe when I was a child, and I mean, wow. Old time hockey.
Living across the river in Windsor, our spitfires played their final game at Windsor Arena in 2008 & it’s a hard thing to let go.
No modern corporate atmosphere in any 21st century arena can compare to these old rinks.
Any time you hear the Detroit song it's great!
imagine the new jersey devil fans
Went to a hockey game and a concert broke out. Lol. Awesome.
WOW !!!! What a huge crowd— and Journey got the honor for performing at that event !! Great performance of iconic Journey band- Arnel Pineda sounds amazing !! BRAVO Journey !!!!!
I know hockey ain’t the only sport where fans sing and engage in the game but hockey just got that special feeling no other spot has its by far the best sport on the planet
heres a song that unites all people
Fucking Love Detroit Red Wings! Always! No matter how it goes! Still missing old times tho.. Let's go Red Win(g)s!
Cant believe it’s been five years 😐
Respect from Czech republic💪👍🍻
i never went to the arena myself this hits me in the feels
My pops was raised in Detroit. Although I’m an Ohio boy I love my Detroit teams!!!
anyone still get goosies now 5 years later?
💚❤
No fans in the world like hockey fans.
I haven't watched Hockey in years they got rid of the Joe?
I had to have been 12 at the time….
My grandpa worked for Valiant Machine here in Windsor, and he'd get tickets here and there for free. I loved going to Wings games at The Joe. Old time hockey.
Here in Windsor, we had our old barn replaced with a new arena back in 2009, and it doesn't seem the same.
I was fortunate enough to experience hockey games at old rinks, where it was about the hockey, and not corporate induced advertisements with a high-tech that sucks the game out of the experience.
Will always be a fan nonetheless, but am thankful to watch hockey games at old rinks.
why was it played one last time? has it not been played since?
LCA could never be what the Joe was
I’m a Devils fan, and they lost this game, but this gives me chills
If you not from the detroit area and watch ed the wings play at the Joe you just don't know what this song means.
… I’m not sorry, but unless you’ve been living under a rock, first reaction videos to this is BS.
So glad I could attend the last two games at the Joe, the ending ceremony was amazing
Love my red wings forever and always!!!!
