Now that the trade has sunk in and we’ve been shown a glance of ROR, I feel that Dubas has really surrounded the core 34,16,88,44 with the right leadership guys: first it what Tavares, then Gio was added, and now ROR. It also really seems like everyone on the team has a well defined role on the ice and that they have a really complete team for the first time in the Matthews era. Acciari fits into this too.
Dubas is putting his job on the line dealing away the first round pick (again) but I think he really hit on this one. I’m cautiously optimistic for these playoffs.

I just stared at this pic for 30 seconds thinking how insane you would sound if you said one day we will have ROR and Tavares not to mention players like Marner, Matthews and Nylander. We are allowed to be excited right now this is going to be fun
