Poor Toews. 🙁 And he was having a bit of a bounce back season as well. Regardless of his hockey play, I am hoping he is okay to live a long and happy post-hockey playing life.

Poor guy. Sucks he’s going through all of that and I’m sure not being able to play makes it all that much worse for him mentally. Get well soon, Captain.

Hope he can get healthy again. This makes me thing a lot of teams will be skeptical to sign him if he becomes a FA. I hope the hawks give him another contract. I think leadership and culture is something important in a rebuild. Toews can provide this. But he has to be healthy.
