  1. There are kids out there right now saying “The NHL dress code sucks. I’m just going to stick with being an astronaut when I grow up.”

  2. Idk I just want to watch a hockey game. All the activism and other random shit really ruins the game for real fans

  3. NHL players have stale personalities and any player that has some spunk is always portrayed as a weirdo. It's so lame. We watch sports for entertainment. Tradition slows progression, let these boys cook!

  4. So having guys dressed as wierdos is gonna build the brand?
Nah, let's stick to what works. Being professional means looking professional, not like a clown.

  5. NBA is a racist cancer .. Emulating such degenerative behavior is far from what 90% of Fans wants ..

  6. NHL players don't have to dress like clowns to draw attention to the sport. Suits are classy and are a perfect fit for a sport that in not based on individuality, but on team work. And you can be both classy and original. Just look at David Pastrnak.

  7. Nobody wants to see a freak run way show lol The NBA is tanking anyways, clean up the refs, put the physically and fighting back in the game (like not stopping the goalie fight the other night) promote the game better (blackouts) and it will no doubt pass the NBA in popularity

  8. Another piece the NHL media are horrible. Terrible questions get terrible answers

  9. Always hated Lucic he always makes big hits but when he gets hit, he doesn’t take it like a man

Edit: good hitters know to always say “nice hit” like “damn he actually got me good” and laugh it off. Not turning into a rat

  10. Nah totally disagree with you here. There's a reason why our game is ours. We're a small minority when it comes to sports and their Fandom, and I'd like to see it stay that way. The bigger we get, the more woke we'll get

  11. Nah those outfits are dumb. I’m all for just like everyday clothes. There’s no reason you should be forced to wear a suit before the game.

  12. In this comment section:
Lots of people internally struggling with racism and/or people acting like players wearing suits is what makes the product superior, lol

  13. "i'd hate to see my favorite player like that" if you hate his style choices, are u sure he's ur fave? if ur finding you hate his personality it might be time to reevaluate lol. there should be free reign, 80% of guys would probably wear the same thing anyway but u should have the opportunity to wear whatever. they're at the highest level of the sport, it should be a seniority perk to be able to wear what you want as an nhl player after years of the suits. we see the post-game content side by side anyway, we know what they look like in different outfits, i don't know what's so special about the outfit you wear before the game.

  14. Hockey players are some of the best humans off of the ice….can’t say the same about basketball or football players

  15. I totally disagree with this video. Most people look at what he wear and think he looks like an idiot. The only reason people talk about it is because they talk about how dumb it looks. I hope NHL players never start wearing junk like that and keep wearing suits to games. That’s a good look

  16. mixing sports and fashion is pretty misgudied imo. Most beer drinking sports watchers don't care about fancy blouses or extragavent scarves.

  17. Have to 100% disagree. Dress code all the way for me. The basketball player you presented is, in my opinion, the definition of a douche bag. The outfits were ridiculous – not sure what he gets out of wearing atrocious outfits in public. Yes, you can call me grandpa and please get off my lawn.

  18. I love seeing how players express themselves. Dress code or not, some people will push the limits of what’s appropriate, but I think in general, most players would choose something more professional anyways. Let them have some fun.

If the league/owners can monetize the on-ice dress code through ads, the give the players this one. It’s a hell of a lot better than crypto and gambling ads on the chest.

  19. Yeah this is BS. You dont get personality by dressing like a lolipop. You get personality by showing character. I personaly think that guys should do some pranks on each other (that they do anyway but no one gets to see them).
