I know it’s not *that* crazy of a league, but c’mon, we might have something special here.

So I was curious as to how far off of Mario’s 282 points for the all time record Dumais is right now.

QuantHockey is putting him at 534th all time as of right now, and EP has his projected pace at 139 points to end the season. That would put him at 137th all time, and the highest since Radulov put up 152 in 05-06.

    Don’t worry this won’t make r/hockey

I always pull for the guys who got taken late (or were written off altogether) because of their size but I’m rooting extra hard for Dumais.

Like I know all the caveats, but this level of sustained production is so uncommon in general (forget from someone of his size and age) that it’s starting to look like we may very well have something special with him. It’s hard not to be pumped.

As with always I’m excited af but trying to temper it until he gets to the big leagues. Seen too many flame outs with this and other teams for me to get too high on anyone any more.

That being said those are some crazy numbers and if we do manage to snag Bedard, holy shit, look out league. The r hockey headlines of getting these two along with Johnny signed long term will have people shaking in their booties.
