   I thought they’d wait a bit more since I think they can squeeze a bit more cap space before the deadline by keeping him active. I wonder if this means a deal is in hand for somebody.

   Will laugh if Kane shows up tonight before the game and swaps his jersey to VGK then gets his second hat trick in a row at the United center.
