It isn’t just that we don’t score, we barely get out of our own zone.
I’ve finally hit the point of not caring, but still butt hurt that ultimately nothing significant is going to change. The best thing for this team might honestly be to go completely defeated for the rest of the year, with scores appallingly high. Atleast then there could be no more excuses made, and ownership would actually be forced to make significant changes to this roster/management.
Bright side, if this play continues we might actually get to see some of the younger guys get some real time to close out the year.
If ANYTHING fetches a first round in this years draft, you do it.

I remember during the coaching search after Reardon reading an article evaluating the likely HC candidates. Laviolette was described as having tanked the offensive production of every team he’s coached. When he was announced I wondered why tf they’d do that during Ovi’s goal record chase. Even without Ovi on the ice the last few games, I’m still wondering.

With all apologies to Animal House… old, slow, and stupid is no way to get into the playoffs.
Fire Lavy, trade everything with an expiring contract, stockpile some picks, and see who in Hershey can hang at the NHL level for next year, because we’re kidding ourselves if we think we can do anything beyond merely qualifying for the playoffs, and even that is a stretch.
I hope B-Mac is on the phone tomorrow and can trade two or three pending UFAs for draft picks.
And when Ovi gets back, I hope he tears the team a new one for their piss-poor play because if the coach can’t get anything out of the players–well, yeah, he needs to go–then the captain needs to kick a little ass.
And just my luck the guy I picked to get the GWG gets his ass tossed before he can even score.
I can’t even watch anymore. It’s like a bunch of drunk college players arrived.
