  1. I felt so bad for lindy ruff & Mike peca in that situation I like Dallas, and Buffalo got screwed in that situation. The whole brett hull had control of it is crap lindy ruff is right it went off of holzinger’s skate & hasek glove touched it before hull put it in the net. Buffalo got screwed on that.

  2. 20:21 For all we hear about Hull in OT, the other Dallas goal…. for a goalie of Hasek’s caliber, that’s a BAD goal to allow

  3. I was in a bar in New Jersey when this happend as soon as the lights went on the goal was scored.

  4. Eddie Belfour should've won the Conn Smythe that year. Outdueled 3 consecutive HOF goalies to win the Stanley Cup (Fuhr, Roy and Hasek).

  5. The announcers probably shouldn’t have mentioned the controversy of the goal. That’s just way more disheartening to the Sabres fans. The way they brought up the subject was as dramatic as mentioning a world disaster

  6. I have to wonder. Anytime your team wins the Cup no matter the circumstances, it is a joyous occasion. But when ESPN breaks that maybe your cup winning goal shouldn't have counted, did it give Dallas Stars fans pause? Maybe a less than ideal feeling about their brand new title? What was that like?

  7. That was real hockey and real men. I miss those days. Now it’s just a bunch of figure skaters chasing a puck.

  8. I remember watching this game. Staying up late early Sunday morning. Back when I used to watch the Dallas Stars.

  9. I was born and raised in Dallas. The Stars moved here when I was in kindergarten in 1993, and nobody thought major league hockey would be popular in Texas. Six years later, it finally paid off. I didn’t have cable, but my parents and I house-sat for our next-door neighbors who did have cable, and we were able to watch this spectacular game.

  10. I think the Sabres should’ve won this game, so that the Stars would’ve won game 7 and therefore, the Cup in front of the home fans in American Airlines Center in Dallas, enabling Brett Hull’s triple overtime goal there, instead of in game 6 in Buffalo.

  11. One of the greatest finals games ever. Hull's foot was clearly in the crease and a coach's challenge would have overturned it today. Also, I love the old Sports Center when the broadcast was exciting and those lead ins were so well written and clever. Now it's the woke LeBron James show.

  12. Beat Buffalo In NFL But NHL One Is Better And I Fell asleep When Watching The Video And The Game Wining Goal Woke Me Up
