  1. Me and my buddies watched this game and we went nuts when that puck hit the back of the net! And we’re not even Vancouver fans

  2. This turned out to be one hell of a series. If I remember Vancouver had a 3-0 series lead and it looked like it was going to be over in four or five games, but Chicago won games 4-6 to even the series and the Canucks were on the verge of a historic collapse. What a game 7 and damn, what a shot by Burrows. Corey Crawford or any goalie wouldn't have been able to stop that.

  3. Can’t believe this was almost ten years ago already damn time fly’s remember this like it was last season. One of my all time favourite goals

  4. 0:23 i love how henrick and daniel hugged. their the best canucks of all time. no one is sports has better chemistry then them

  5. 10 years ago today. Those were some good times while they lasted. Hard to believe it’s been that long.

    Thank you Dragonslayer

  6. Will always treasure this call from jim Hughson. One of the best play by play voices of them all. Wish him a happy retirement.

  7. Too bad you wasted it. We've got six, you've got none! BLACKHAWKS TILL I DIE!

  8. Only thing that would've made this sweeter is if we played their stupid fkn goal song Chelsea Dagger

  9. During that entire run, I hated the Canucks, but this call on that Burrows OT winner is an all timer.

  10. Canucks fan till I die, but this series so almost heart breaking to watch. Canucks won the first 3 then they proceeded to let the hawks win the next 3 with a goal differencel of like 20-3. Thank god burrows clutched

  11. Can't believe it's already been 11 years. I remember this like it happened just yesterday.

  12. …. you know I refused to watch this game because I knew how much was at stake and how shitty EVERYONE would be around me if they lost this….

Instead being in a park alone at night…. you could very much HEAR THE TOWN ERUPT much like it did a year prior during Crosby's golden goal in that same bloody arena.

Playoff hockey in a Canadian city means that much more when the stakes are THAT high. This was an incredible slap shot and incredible call

  13. Nearly 12 years later and this is still the all time high point of this Franchise……it was a great moment but that fact also makes me sad.

Yes we beat Nashville and Bieksas overtime goal against the Sharks was great, but it felt like it was all downhill after this.

The franchise has never recovered from the heartbreak of losing the final in 2011.

  14. The best OT goal of all time… The atmosphere is something else during this goal and the celebrations. Amazing
