So this debunks [this report](https://www.reddit.com/r/stlouisblues/comments/118dxwc/jack_richardson_on_twitter_seravalli_indicates/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) yesterday that sens were inquiring about him.
Also I think people are reading too much into these “inquiries” gms are making. At the trade deadline it’s their job to inquire about pretty much anyone who is available or could be perceived as available. So if Doug is not “inquiring” on Meier with SJS he frankly isn’t doing his due diligence. An inquiry doesn’t always mean you’re fully interested.

i mean who would be? especially after his little lowlights performance last night, turning over the puck 8 feet from the crease? his extension was ridiculous and he was never going to live up to it, I mostly trust Army to make the right call with signings, but that was a gaffer. I hope he can turn it around but I don’t see it happening, his slapshot has vanished and he seems like he forgot how to skate.

Kinda weird for Seravalli to be totally wrong about something like this, but then again rumors are mostly worthless anyway. Even if they had enquired, that doesn’t mean they’re seriously interested, let alone that they would be willing to meet Armstrong’s ask.

That extension is just a killer. And the no-trade clause is literally the condiment atop a shit sandwich. He’s not living up to the money & it’s too much to just dump off.
Maybe if we can pick up a solid 1D like Chychrun we will see Parayko turn around… Who knows. I do know that we are likely stuck with him for the long haul so we need to figure out how to make it work like 2019.
