So if I’m reading this correctly, then Jensen has been our most efficient player and Kuzy has been our least efficient player?

Which is funny because I’ve seen a lot of people shitting on Jensen lately. Same with Mantha and he’s been more efficient than Milano, Strome, Osh, Backy, and Kuzy.

Some guys seem to have more of an impact when I’m watching the game but then I see ratings like these and it makes me question what I’ve been watching. I thought NAK has been ok, but he apparently is our second least efficient player.

dumb question, but i’m guessing oWAR deals with offensive efficiency, and dWAR is defense? So if that’s correct, our top defenseman (Carlson) is our best offensive player but 3rd worse defensive player?

Gus’s defensive awareness is NOT that high. Whenever he’s on the ice he gives up the puck and falls behind on the backcheck, usually leading to a goal or a high-danger opportunity for the other team. And how many open nets has he missed in OT?

Careful, any time Laviolette sees any analytics he picks the most nonsensical player he can and sticks him on the top line.

When Backstrom, Kuznetsov, and Oshie are paid like top offensive producers and they aren’t efficient on offense, that is your problem. Defense and goaltending has been more than adequate. No one can score, and especially the guys that get paid to do so. Those are the contracts hurting this team the most, unfortunately!
