To bad he wasn’t eligible for Calder
But Kuzy isn’t a teenager
Boeser was on a 44 goal pace through the first half of his rookie season, despite having a broken wrist.
Which is why I’m still not keen on trading him for whatever Minnesota’s willing to give up (especially Dumba)
Now do players in their age 31 season like Kuz is
Something I feel is missed in stats like this is the fact that scoring is at its highest in decades. Guys getting career highs all over the place. Not to take away from what kuzy is doing, he’s a special player for sure. But when teams are scoring 5+ goals almost every game, scoring numbers are inflated. A 30 goal season doesn’t mean what it used to.
THAT’S JUST BANANAS!
Kaprizov would have hit 30 easily had he played a full season instead of the covid one.
I think he was on pace for 40 actually.
But regardless awesome that Kuzmenko is thriving despite Vancouver’s disaster of a season.
