I agree Patrick. Ken Holland is frustrating, but this team is well paid and has to play more than 20 minutes. The fans deserve that. There is a lot of money and time spent supporting them
The big guns needs coaching from time to time. I sure hope Jay addresses the slouching body language and skyward looks 3-4 players constantly do. Prime example is when McDavid put it back to the point and Bouchard was out of position and missed the pass. McDavid looked disgusted, looked skyward while slouching and kept gliding into the offensive zone. Or how about absolutely everything running through McDavid? Yes he is all world but you can’t defer to him if there’s no play available. Make the easy play. Gain the line and the zone. Example Puljujarvi and Bouchard non stop give aways for a quick and easy transition which resulted in 9 flyer shots on net. Do that against a good team in the playoffs and you might as well book your tee times.

Vinnie is a defenceman and the team needs another like him. Bouchard may need some Bako time if possible. Nice to see Jack Micheals get recognized for his 1000 nhl game play by play. I really appreciate your Great talk about the Oilers 💯👍🏾 and really disappointed with Tim& friends who talk so little about the Oilers 💯👎🏾 How can he talk about the maple leafs who never won the Stanley Cup since 1950's and never went in the playoffs! What happened to the rest of the Canadian teams ?
Making a trade for the sake of "JUST DO SOMETHING!", is exactly how ChiaPeter dug such a big hole for the Oilers before Holland. Losing assets for just to "do something" hurts long term AND short term. Try to explain how trading for Petrovic and Manning helped the team win? I'm glad that Kenny Holland is patient, and perhaps he'll get us Patrick Kane and Max Domi as rentals without giving away the farm.
If the Oil had traded for Edmundson just because some fan rumoured it 2 months ago, they would have given away a first round pick and be stuck with an expensive contract for a guy with a back back who can barely skate anymore. All Edmundson would have done is block Desharnais and Vinny wouldn't have gotten his shot in the NHL until next season!

Disagree with Stauffer, you don't just go make a trade. Doesn't he remember what Chiarelli did to the Oilers? Give away assets in a desperate time.
