  1. Kaner was playing like the decision has been made of whether he is staying or going. He looked so relaxed, like his decision has been finally made of staying home or going

  2. Kane can do it literally at will. This is why he's the most clutch player of all time. People don't get it – how LAZY he is. And bc they don't understand his incredible laziness on the ice, they don't understand how GREAT he is. Literally one of the best players of all time. Even his notorious 'bad defense' is just laziness. In the playoffs when it mattered he was the biggest minute taking forward for a defensively stifling dynasty. Q never pulled him late or close. Even w one goal leads in the SCF.

Any time he is interested and wants to be great, he will be great. At will. Any time. Go watch the last two minutes of that game vs Edmonton earlier this year, where he just randomly decided at the end of the game that he cared. He made two insane plays out of nowhere to just about singlehandedly tie up a lost cause game. Why? Bc McDavid and Drai were in town and he thought it would be funny to leave them w an understanding of real greatness.

Any already good team not wanting this guy on their team in the playoffs is insane. He will literally win you the SC. He has 5 playoff OT goals, including 3 playoff OT goals to win ROUNDS. He had two hat tricks in series clinching playoff wins before his first regular season one. He is the greatest big game, big moment player of all time.

  3. Sometimes things just click. A storybook night for a Chicago Blackhawk legend. I’d be lying to say I won’t miss him, but man seeing hats rain down and Chelsea Dagger play and Kaner skating around all feels so perfect. If his time here is to end, I’m glad he got this and I’m glad it was at his home.

  4. He's been having a lousy season. It's good to see he's trying again. He's only 34 years old.

  5. Crazy that a guy with no shoulders has lasted this long in the NHL!

  6. Even if he gets traded, he'll end up back in Chicago to play his final season there before he retires.

  7. It's so crazy to me that people think Kane is washed being less than a point per game this year when he's clearly been injured at times and is playing with an AHL roster
