Makes no sense. As others have said before with the core signed and playing well it has been long overdue to go all in Shero and Rutherford style. Hexstall is doing nothing and Burke lost his whatever he had. Is there a game of high stakes chicken going on? I think so.

They don't want to change because they don't care
The players and coaches are not going to come out and say that someone sucks or is not able to play their current position. The room is sensitive, no one on the Pens is going to come out and say that Carter sucks or that McGinn sucks, etc.
I think the problem is much deeper than the 3rd line or bottom 6. The defense is not good enough. Compared to where they were last season at this time, the pens are giving up far more goals. DeSmith has not been good…Jarry has been out and when in has bad games until he fully comes back only to get injured again. I dont like the defense other than Letang and he's been out a lot. Rutta seems good but also out. I;m hearing that Petry may be on the trading block…Dumo? he's a liability, and etc.
Has there ever been a time where the leaders of a team have stood up and went into the offices, and demanded a change like Crosby Malkin LeTang put on a personal boycott
