Wonder what the standings would look like if the NHL would finally have a true 3pt system

At the beginning of the season, I thought CBJ would be better than the worst, especially with JG.

2015 Bruins, when tuuka sat out and we lost. We still cool tho tuuka!

Sabres would hold Wildcard 2 with a regulation win tonight, and jump 3 spots, but those positions are going to change 20 more times between now and seasons end

2000 had a crazy race, I believe sabres vs hurricanes played game 82 and were tied on pts

2018, Blues vs Avalanche, winner made it in. Avs won, I as a blues fan was really sad, then next year happened

I believe the 2010 Flyers run to the final was quite more spectacular, because their playoff berth was clinched on the last game of the season, versus the Rangers.

The winner of this game would clinch a playoff berth and the Flyers did it at home on a shootout.

Rangers fans will likely remember Olli Jokinen for the bad reasons.

I remember the rangers vs flyers maybe 10-15 years ago, game 82 winner gets in. And Olli Jokinen absolutely wiffing on a shootout attempt to lose it for the rangers

In 2016-17 TBL finished 1 point behind TOR (94 & 95 respectively). WIth 3 games to go, TBL won a head to head against TOR. TBL won both of their remaining games. TOR won 1 of 2 (their win against PIT in game 81 of the season gave them 95 points), and they made the playoffs.

It’s wild that Ottawa is kinda back in it with the start they had

I think 2006-07 Toronto and Montreal played each other with a spot on the line

Red Wings kept that streak alive to get to 25 years in 2016. Thanks Boston.
