Not really worried about making playoffs but recent events make me wonder if they’re real contenders. I know they’re capable of being contenders. Also I miss Kivi and Glenny

I might get some hate for this but I’ll let yall in on a secret…. I sub to the Bruins sub so I can see the goalie hugs and I never get tired of seeing them. For whatever reason it puts a smile on my face every time.

Been waiting since last free talk Friday but a friend and I have been talking and we were both wondering what other fans thought:
If Jamie was a crab/overall crustacean, which would he be? We agreed on a stone crab, with jordy being either a larger stone crab, or a mud crab. (Seggy is a paintedhand mudbug, ovi is a red king crab, etc etc). It’s just a really interesting thought (and good to distract from the recent games 💀)

It puzzles me how I’m having conversations with fans regarding some or our slacking players. People are saying how we’ve been in this 0-5 streak since losing Kiviranta, like he’s some end all be all player. I think we seriously need to consider trading/disposing of some guys, specifically Marchment, Gurianov, and Sutter.
Anybody else have input on this?

Stars are close to a lock for the playoffs this year, and anything can happen, so I don’t think it’s fair to dismiss the season due to a losing streak. Their roster matches up well with any other West team (Avs level of skill and speed is always a concern though), although a high skill team with depth, like the Bruins or Leafs would give them trouble.
Stars do need to make a move at the deadline. Kane is a terrible fit, he’s declined significantly in his 30s. He’s never been a good two way player and regularly cheated up to use his speed to generate odd man rushes (think Tarasenko a few years ago), but that speed has declined and there’s much less offensive payoff for his style of play. A Blake Coleman-type two-way forward would be a great addition instead.
The best thing the Stars can do is make a play for Chychrun. Him and Miro would be one of, if not the top, defensive pairings in hockey. Suter is clearly washed up and Miller would be better suited in a bottom pairing role. Coyotes are asking two firsts and a serious prospect as a return package, and they will get something along those lines once the bidding starts closer to the deadline. If the Coyotes will accept a package of 1st, Bourque and Kyrou, the Stars should pull the trigger.

Stars have the least amount of wins of any Western Conference playoff team. Does not bode well for the playoffs when you’re surviving exclusively on loser points. No 3v3 in the playoffs but no loser points either.

I think we have a mentality problem more than anything.

I started watching this Japanese romantic comedy show on Netflix. I would love to see this as an anime due to how the acting is done. I’m enjoying it
