Hope he doesn’t pull this bullshit again than

Gonna be honest, I’ve seen the hit multiple times now on my feed calling it dirty, but I still think it was somewhat unintentional due to Okposo trying to evade it. Not saying it shouldn’t be a penalty and worthy of a fine.

Also good to see the DOPS clearly not having any consistency with these things, seeing as the previous two headshots that actually injured players have been fines IIRC.

  3. Funny how the hits to the head in the playoffs to our players never got punished.

And even this season, Makar’s hit to his head didn’t get games either.

I hope Bogo’s back … the thought of Foote and Fleury in the same game scares the shit outta me.

Good. Wether it was intentional or not, he needs to learn to keep his elbows to himself.

Honestly rest is more important anyway. Doesn’t bother me

We are at a point in our run where regular season results are nothing to be worried about as we firmly in a playoff spot. We know that better than any team

The NHL site has a good video explaining this, and it’s hard to argue against.

I don’t think it is relevant whether other calls for egregious behavior were made, or whether suspensions were handed down for those.

I also don’t think every play like this (or every suspension) makes a player “dirty.”

He can’t deliver that chicken wing to the head, he is being punished, and that’s that. Now, if he regularly does crap like this, then “dirty” can enter the convo.

I love Cernak and this seems appropriate, whether intentional or not (I don’t think it was intentional)

He’ll learn to keep his arms down

There’s a guy on Reddit that owes a lot of people $5 apiece. He was betting everyone that he wouldn’t even get fined. 😂

Yet Trouba is still out there chicken winging everyone! I still remember the missed elbow hit on Pally in the playoffs. That was pure intent to injure with no repercussions. Cernak’s elbow didn’t look intentional to me.

I don’t get how there are people here defending Cernak. The dude is an ass and he had his elbow out. It was a dangerous play regardless of whether it was completely intentional (which I think it was).

  12. Honestly fair, probably appeal down to 1 but that’s fair
