If the oilers bothered to ever play a team game, maybe they’d be up by more than 5 points in the wild card. But they only care about padding numbers on the power play.
Imagine being at his level and 45 goals is a career high. Doesn’t make sense really. Why is his high not at least 60?
The truly transcendent play by Conner is on display here. He doesn't look at the puck because he owns it. He doesn't worry about the puck because the puck is peripheral to the play, to the setup. He simply commands what he wants from the damn puck and establishes dominance over it.
Truly supreme play. How privileged I am to see this man's work in my lifetime.
