Let him have some hard practices and backup a few games, this season is done and we’re selling hard so no reason to rush the cornerstone of our goaltending back.

Just in time to drag us to 11th place in the west

  3. airjunkie

I really hope they’re going to be careful and have Demko play only half the games. Last nights win was fun, but it really worries me how much ice time top guys were getting in a meaningless game, let alone the tank implications.

    NO, NO, GOD NO!

    -RIP SPANKTANK

Demko Silovs tandem, split 50/50 for the rest of the season, with Silovs returning to Abbotsford for their playoffs.

  6. Upbeat_Trainer

If he comes back and does well, it’s bad for the tank. If he comes back and does poorly, it’s bad for Demko.

    Seems like a no-win situation.

That tweet thumbnail is the collective reaction of team tank to this news

Demko is still not 100% and just because he « feels » so doesn’t mean that he is.

The Canucks would be stupid to allow him back into the lineup now, as the focus should be on making trades, clearing cap space, and tanking the rest of this season.

Unless their secret plan is to actually trade Demko for assets before this trade deadline, and they need to showcase him in games to prove to other teams that he is actually healthy again, they should just keep him out of the lineup.

    Next.

With how easy their schedule is after the next 4 games, and Demko having something to prove, it’s good timing for the Canucks to go on their annual « Let’s Screw Up On Draft Position » feel good winning streak.

The players, coaches and owner can then spend the summer hyping up how this stretch of hockey shows what the team is really capable of and, if everybody comes in focused, next season should be a real good one. Playoffs, here we come!

They’ll then show up next season and shit the bed like they have the last 5 seasons or so.

Maybe I do want to trade him?!

  14. Dragonsinja

Next update will be he’s on LTIR 😂

  15. azialsilvara

The only form I’m hoping he returns to is the form he’s exhibited this season. He can play better next season after a summer of training.

  16. thelifeisthedream

Might b the only way to stop Silvos

  17. TheOdiin

Can’t wait to go streaking, I love being a Canucks fan.

  18. JTMilleriswortha1st

Demko was terrible before his injury people expecting him to carry us to wins are crazy lol

  19. joeyandkuma

let’s trade him to the kings for a stud RHD prospect + a turcotte or another top prospect and a 1st.

  20. PluckYourNoseHairs

Going to be hilarious when he gets injured. Just like I.M save him from himself 🙄

  21. ILoveHipChecks

Next thing you’re going to tell me they’ve signed Brandon Sutter for garbage time.

  22. Talax604

Y’all are taking tank to the extreme.

Thatcher needs to be a part of the tank season pre season to get ready for the next season, don’t chya know

  23. whoozitfor

It would be nice to beat Boston…
