Spittin' Chicklets were giddy when Yosemite Sam was named Philly's Coach…it's just what they need they said. For some inexplicable reason, Yosemite Sam is popular among those on the fringe. Perhaps these hockey gurus enjoy his moronic decisions, fowl language, mistreatment of the media, abuse of his players and officials and his horrendous record. The Flyers under the guidance of Yosemite Sam (shortass, loud, obnoxious, idiotic, dumb, sideshow) sit among the worst in the League in every category. They do lead the League in majors…it requires only 2 active brain cells so Yosemite is very qualified. It's time for him to supernova…it's the only way he can garner attention. What a brilliant move by Cliff's son…nepotism is very much alive in the NHL.

After the 7th goal, Tortorella called over to Ruff, and gestured basically “isn’t that enough?” And the Devils went softly after that, not pursuing much, but skating around with the puck. It was a nice sign of respect between coaches, and i appreciated having been able to witness it.
