Before everyone starts jumping to conclusions, keep in mind Holl gets the most defensive zone starts than anyone on this list. If you start in the defensive zone, on average, you will get scored on more than your peers. Put the Holl megaphone away. He’s a fine defenseman. Is he an all-star? No. Is he a bottom six defenseman on most NHL teams? Yes.

My takeaway:
1. Liljegren is a stud with anyone he’s paired with. Giordano too.
2. Holl drags down everyone he plays with.
Giordano’s so good, that with him Holl is at least serviceable
Holl sucks. Don’t need fancy graphs to tell us that.
