WOW, didn’t realize this. My son works at the FBO in Reno and was the last to see them alive as he was the one who helped them load up and then pulled their aircraft out of the hangar for the fateful flight. He is having a very difficult time with this. I’m a hardcore Penguins fan, but send deepest condolences to all of the Caps family and to John and his family. So, so sorry to hear this and all of us here in Reno are hurting as well from all the first responders to us fellow pilots. I fly small aircraft out of Reno myself and the conditions here can be VERY difficult at times. I am 1000% sure he did everything he could to keep that airplane airborne and try to save all their lives, but sometimes out here the conditions become so difficult in an instant that they are more than the airplane can handle.
