This puts Trotz’s departure in more context.
My bet is that (as was sort of reported) Trotz wouldn’t renew without graduation to management in his contract. LL wouldn’t give it, and that, combined with Lambert about to walk and player dissatisfaction (or whatever), is why he got the boot.
Happy as hell for Barry… All the best too him and now i’m always gonna be pulling for the Preds
Good for him. Sad we won’t have a reunion because he is a top-tier coach, but he deserves any role he wants
Thank fucking god he’s not replacing Lou. Loved him as a coach but I don’t think he’ll make the best GM
One of these seasons the Islanders are gonna go 80-2 and those two loses are gonna be against the Preds
