I understand that goalies have good and bad years…but how many bad years are we willing to risk? With every bad game his trade value drops, if he gets worse instead of better…it may be hard to unload him if or when it becomes absolutely necessary.

Sorry Flames fans, unless Calgary goes on an absolute heater of 10, 11, 12 games in a row down the stretch Flames are not making the playoffs. Alternatively, all the teams ahead of the Flames will have to start losing big time for the Flames to get back into contention. It'll even be tight for the Oilers to make the playoffs. Oilers have to go 13 and 9 down the stretch.
