[Strickland] Peut supposer en toute sécurité que #vegasborn ne considère pas Ivan Barbashev comme une location. J’aimerais le garder, le chiffre magique semble être de 4 millions de dollars

Tracks with the McGM’s previous moves. Even in their most all-in years, they re-signed their trade deadline acquisitions like Stone, Marty, Lehner, Janmark.

Nick Cousins for a 4th is the only pure rental move they’ve ever made. If they were willing to move a former 1st round pick for a player, they’re gonna try and bring him back.

Wasn’t real familiar with him so I did some research. He seems like what we need. Drives the net, hits a lot, isn’t afraid to drop the mitts.

I’m very much ok with a $4-million ceiling as an AVV. He gets a pay raise not just with naked dollar value, but living in a state with no income tax will be a nice benefit for him. Makes more $, saves more $. He should really think about that when contract negotiations begin!

Unless he lights it up with Eichel I want no part of a deal with him that starts with 4. We don’t have the roster flexibility to give that much to 3rd line wing.
