Looks like he’s saying “I fucking spit and it fucking hit him.” I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt here, it’s not like he’s been known to be a hothead on or off the ice, so it’s completely feasible to me that he did not intentionally do this
Biggest surprise tonight was how good the defence was, Fox is (almost) always solid, but Trouba, Harpour and Mikkola did a great job!!

Hockey players spit sooooooooooo fucking much, Not excusing what Key did, but damn every single player spit every few seconds. Is it a hockey thing? I didn’t grow up playing hockey, is that a normal thing for people to do? I mean it was a lot of spit. Like every player, spitting every few seconds. Never noticed it until today.
The next time the New York Rangers play hockey, Patrick Kane and Vladimir Tarasenko will both be in the lineup.

Chytil needs a little puck luck again. He’s goalless in his last 9 games, 0/26 on shots. He does have 4 assists in that time, and I think he’s skated well, but the puck isn’t going in for him right now.
Like everyone else, I was baffled about why Schneider was dressed but didn’t play, especially after Miller went out.

What seemed like the sky was falling after a 4 game losing streak w/Lindgren’s injury plus the salary cap crunch and the inevitable trade of a certain player hmm I wonder what his name is. The Rangers turned it around with a win of adversity. Igor looked like a normal Igor tonight. But what was probably the biggest moment of the game, was KeAndre’s DUMB, IDIOTIC, 5 min major penalty. Spitting? Really?! Cant do that dude. Especially when the team had to play 5 dmen(for cap reasons and so Schnieder cant get hurt). Very disgusting Key. Hope he doesnt get suspended. The Rangers killed off the major penalty. Penalty kill looked very good tonight. BUT I’m gonna give credit to the 4 defensemen that put in a defensive shift tonight. Including Mikkola(who needs to STOP TAKING PENALTIES) & Harpur. I truly thought it would all fall apart once Mika got hurt. Then, the Garden crowd started chanting « Mika’s name » (Could have been for both him and Mika Zibanecat as well haha). Dude comes back after taking a blast on the foot and score. Mika Zibanejad, « It’s a Power Play Goal! » Panarin’s redemption goal was spectacular after a bad defensive break down which led to a goal. Trocheck was great tonight too!
Overall, that was total team effort tonight. When their backs were against the wall(more like the cap), they pulled out the win beating the LA Devotee’s. « Just another LA Devotee. » The dmen got the Broadway Hat. Although the whole team should have got it w/that performance. I digress. Rangers win! 2 points in the bag! Vital points. Two days off and onto the Flyers. Where possibly >!Harry Kane !< will be joining the team. Is (see spoiler) related to the one from Chicago? Are they like brothers or something? Haha. Great win tonight! God Save the King.
