Although I’m a rangers fan, This trade will make the devils look more dangerous.
Exactly the type of player the Devils needed to add. And I'm surprised they were able to add him without giving up any TOP prospects. Still got Hughes, still got Nemec, still got Holtz. And anyone who thought Mercer was going to be traded was nuts.
The picks will help the Sharks for sure and Zetterlund is going to score a lot of goals for em if they give him the chance.
But this makes the Devs instant Cup contenders. All of the sudden that Rangers/Devils 1st round matchup doesnt look so certain. NJ is coming for the division!
