  1. Allvin coulda got a KING'S RANSOM if he just waited a couple weeks to trade Bo Horvat.😖

  2. Adam is not only Cale Foote's dad but also an assistant coach for the Vancouver Canucks…

  3. I want to say fire Juilien Briesbois… but you didn't mention in your video that the last 3 years every deadline deal we made were W's. And those picks aren't going to win anything for us right now and we need to get the "role" players not stack it up with dream team players like we are playing some video game. But I don't know.

  4. Hey dude, his brother is Nolan Foote and guess what team he’s on? Devils and how’d he get there? Oh ya another trade from Tampa for Coleman 🤣

  5. Is it really an overpayment? Jeannot is in the unicorn class of a rare type of player that does it all. He scored 24 goals last year that being combined with all his size, age, grit, hitting and fighting. This type of player does come around much these days in the NHL. The hard reality is at the end of the day the market sets the price for a player's value.

  6. Now THIS is an overpay. Crazy. All right, Carolina. Your rivals have put their chips on the table… your move.

  7. I kinda' liked the Meier return… 2 first round picks/prospects +. Jeannot is a RFA with arbitration.

  8. We loved him here in Nashville but that doesn't discount the fact that he's been on a milk carton all fkn year. His rookie season also came during a year in which Duchene, Forsberg, Josi, Grandlund, and even Johansen were having career years or a rebound to form. I think it may be an aberration…time will tell…in the meantime here you go Trotzy…here's your assets!!!! Fk yeah… I'll take it after letting a first round pick walk in waivers to Seattle…Tolvy is on a 30 goal pace with them. So yes…we deserved this!!!! Moreover, I'm still upset that we only got a 2nd in next year's draft for Nino…wtf…I seem to recall giving away 1sts for Gaustad and Hartman in years past…and how could you not get one for this deep draft year…hopefully reminiscent of another in Nashville in 2003. Been a STH for 23 years…overjoyed to see this overpayment.

  9. HUGE arms race going on in the eastern conference!
    Ya, huge haul for Nashville.

Jeannot is a young, big body, power fwd with only $800k salary and can score goals. Tampa was cap squeezed, so Nashville did a great job to squeeze draft picks.

  10. BriesBois has never been a good gm but no one ever mentions it. Coming from a lightning fan

  11. Hey Lego, Canes fan here, would love to see a video on Alexander Nikishin 🙂 Thanks! Love your vids man

  12. Looks like The Lightning are arming up for another cup run. Tanner Jeannot is a perfect player for a tough series. Now they have Maroon and Jeannot! That's serious protection for their skill guys.

  13. You know what would be funny?:
Tanner Jeannot scores less than 10 times and less than 20 points the next season (if they resigned)
    about 5 points in playoffs.

  14. i get the appeal with this player, but that is highway robbery. tampa is already short on draft picks, but this is way too much for a player who hasnt really performed this year. they clearly wanted the player though, so we will see!

  15. Jeannot is basically Goodrow/Coleman 2.0 which they resulted in Cups. That's the role he is expected to play, tough and gritty and goals are a bonus. I love Foote, but honestly Tampa's D core is pretty set, and he was struggling for minutes he'll get a better chance to play in Nashville.

  16. While a huge overpay, why do I get the feeling that this will somehow come up roses for the TBL and Jeannot will rediscover his old form, lol.

  17. Tampa got fleeced. They easily paid twice the value of Tanner Jeannot. They should have offered either the 1st, 3rd, and 4th or the 2nd, 5th, and Cal Foote. One could argue that either of those was still an overpay.

Did the Minnesota Timberwolves front office take over in Tampa? This is outragious!

  18. I had a feeling once announced that Jeannot was heading to Bolts that Cal Foote would be part of that trade, I wasn't expecting 5 picks maybe 2nd 3rd with a later pick tied with that. Nashville for sure won this trade

  19. Yea, not too happy with the overpay, but JBB believes Jeannot could be like Nick Paul, but with a more controllable contract and has an even more physical style of play for post-season hockey. Plus, this also speaks about how JBB is looking ahead of not just this season to get back to the cup, but also keeping the window open for another decade with the young core they locked up. So yea it’s not pretty, but looking at both the short & long term is what could keep Tampa in the long run.

  20. Draft picks are overrated..plus they have a few young guys in the minors already. Go Bolts! In JBB I trust. Also, Cal Foote sucks.

  21. Tampa is a contender. But the core is getting old and I don't see them getting through the east gauntlet. I see a complete tear down in 2 years. This year is their last shot. Colorado needs to make a big move. Something is comming. Boston vs Rangers will be a blood fest now that Kane is going there.
