Yes, if we manage to get a first rounder at this point, I’d be thrilled
The only person I’m getting kind of annoyed with is Gavrikov. He was given the green light to discuss contracts with whoever he wanted to facilitate a trade and nothing came of that. Now there are teams that want him and to extend him and he’s not interested in signing with them. Unless there are other teams being negotiated with that we haven’t heard about, I’m really suspecting he took the opportunity to talk contract with someone and is just going to sign as a UFA now. That or the contracts he has been offered are nowhere near what he wants and he only wants a stage to showcase what he can do in a competent defensive system for contract negotiations in free agency.
I just keep telling myself they’ve got something cooking and/or sticking to a plan with contingencies laced throughout

Boston snowed Jarmo and took his lunch money. The Bs got what they wanted at a good price while our guy held tight and ended up with zero. Great job Jarmo. He’s terrible.

If this trade deadline is lackluster for us, I sure hope Jarmo goes big this summer, somehow.
Maybe we could swap a guy like Foudy for a whole bag of draft picks?
