The Leafs have 2 First Lines…plus 2 Third Lines.
I want to say ROR and Acciari going to the Leafs and playing more 2-way hockey kept this game at 5-1 and prevented it from becoming a 5-4 game. They both have a mindset if they are not the ones scoring they will play Defense.
Don't do that…don't give me hope, Leafs.
I swear I am finding myself looking at this team and thinking "THIS is the team, of ALL LEAF TEAMS, that can MAKE IT PAST THE 1st ROUND!"
…And then reality slaps me in the face, and I see goddamn Boston having the greatest SEASON OF ALL TIME IN HOCKEY and Tampa, basically a 3peat monster on the doorstep. FML. Suffering.

Leafs fans & team just have to be preparing to play Tampa and Bruins in the playoffs. So what is the present excitement all about for a regular season win? Think it just is devotion of life long – Leaf Fans. For Bruins – it would be better if Leafs somehow eliminated Tampa in the first round – playing without 2 Top Pairing NHL D – men. Marner is just sick, like everyone else is in street shoes! I think ROR's position will depend on who/if they pick up in trades. They get a power winger for the top 6, ROR goes 3rd line. Otherwise leave 'em with JT and Marner/Nylander.
It's amazing Steve….Samsonov gives up a goal….that the Leafs let right in front of their net, and the shot is quick and accurate…and WHOA you think he might be shakey….but Grubauer…hey, you don't blame Grubauer at all on that first goal at all. Jesus man, relax, Sammies fine. Get off his back. He let ONE in. ONE. Exactly WTF do you want in net? There are no Roys, Haseks or Brodeours in the league atm.

So sad, I missed the game. We got a big dump of snow in Vancouver and my bus to Seattle got cancelled so I couldn't go. That disappointment aside, I'm so excited for the one vs the Canucks on Saturday…if you thought there was a lot of us in Seattle, wait til you see that one… GLG!
