Damn hellberg let in some easy goals. Our defense was non existent today too. I think that Tampa game just drained us. We played so hard and got no reward. We're not going to make the playoffs if we don't step it up. I got tickets to the Panthers game and the penguins game in March so I pray that were still playing for a playoff spot when my games come. Never been to little Caesars arena yet can't wait. Let's go wings come on we got this
Wings are back to losing their best chance at getting in the playoffs. The Lightning goalie was like super glue in the net. Wings need to put games like that behind them. If they go on a depression tour after that Tampa game, they'll throw their chances away at having a pretty good season. Once again, this is not the same team that played the previous 8 games before the Tampa game. The defense needs to show up everytime the Wings score 3 or less goals. If they don't, they'll go home packing everytime.
Sens put a big dent in the Wings unexpected playoff push. Both teams are just good enough to justify not trading their expiring contracts for their own playoff hopes.
Reffing was abysmal, 5 power plays for the senators to the wings 1 before the end of the second. If the refs are going to gift the game away then there’s no need to even play
blame whoever but this is probably it for the wings, if they lose tomorrow as well, its over. Wheels fall off and this season ends just like the past 6. Hope yzerman picks up a solid goalie , solid 3rd pair d and of course get rid of all these guys who cant even crack 20 goals or 50 points in a season, hurt or not. This team just straight up sucks. Go look at player stats compared to teams who are supposed to be in the same playing field. Those numbers make it glaringly obvious that this team has a major problem. Only person who is even producing at an NHL level is Larkin and thats just sad. And before anyone says anything about the little win streak they went on, so what, horrible time to start a win streak, right before the deadline so we certainly get boned for the rest of the season cuz Yzerman didnt sell when he should of. Anyone agree or am I barking
Hellberg is just not fit for the NHL. He isn't a bad goaly but he isn't an NHL goaly either. hope we pull up Cossa ASAP. doesn't make a difference if we have a rookie in net or those guys giving us 85% save… rather have a rookie talent get 80ish bi Veteran t build experience than a Veteran
