Wow, Sid looks & sounds emotionally hurt after tonight’s loss. As an Oilers fan I feel bad that they got 2 goals waved off & got booed off the ice tonight. Don’t get your hopes down yet Pens fans! They are really harsh on Crosby when none of this is really his fault. It's not like he's not carrying his share of the workload. The same goes for Malkin. It's the rest of the team. The only person you can really blame is the GM for constructing the team the way it is. That's not on Sid.
Crosby will still score 100 points by the way. He is certainly not the issue.

By signing Carter and Kapanen , their at the cap and can’t do much with what they got . This is as much on Sully and Hextall and both may need to be replaced

The Pens tried to skate with the Oilers, not even close. Since the All Star break the Oilers have been getting their butts kicked by hard work and close checking, Pens didn’t do anything like those teams that found a way to beat the Oilers, poor game planning by the Pens. Pens have to start grinding in the corners and shutdown the odd man rushes, they have goal scoring so that not their issue.
Thank you Sidney for an incredible career and for being such an incredible Spokesman and Model for the NHL and for all of Hockey. Stay focused, anything can happen. Dubas might be able to blow up Toronto and bring you home to Canada. Tonight was the PASSING OF THE PROVERBIAL TORCH….Sidney knows the Oilers have the Juice right now and he knows how young their Core still is and what they might be able to accomplish…as in multiple Cups possible a Triple Header making them a Dynasty.
