On the show today Elliotte Friedman unsolicited mentions that there has been “some action” around Jets defenceman **Logan Stanley**. He said “someone told me they were actually surprised that he didn’t go to Nashville in the Niederreiter trade. But I’ve heard there’s been a little talk about Stanley as the Jets look to do some things.”
Marek then said he could see Winnipeg looking to bring in a defenceman.
Friedman adds “I think they’ve been looking around at (Jakob) Chychrun. No question about it. But I just don’t what the likelihood of it is.”
So Chychrun for Stanley 1 for 1.

I know everyone here hates Stanley with the passion of 1000 flaming eagles, but i would be sad to see him go. For a couple years he and Lowry were the only people to make our team feel actually physical and tough to play against again.
