I honestly tear’d up. I’ve watch his whole career from the start. I know he’s gonna do some great things in the playoffs. Really gonna miss this one.
This wasn’t the way it was supposed to end. Not even a proper send off. Toews gets sick again and Kane gets traded in the middle of a west coast road trip. I wish I would have appreciated the last time those two played together more, but there was no way to know. Thanks for everything, Kaner.

I didn’t think I’d actually get emotional. I havent been around Kane even half as long as some of you, but I still feel the significance of this. Really pit in the stomach feeling. Players like Kane a few and far between. His impact on the team will be felt forever.

I went to the game in Dallas on a whim while I was there for work. Now I’m so glad I did. Who knew that would Kane’s last game as a hawk 🙁 Go win the cup Kaner!
Dude was half of my childhood and was lucky enough to catch a puck from him in 2010, it was game 5 against the preds when he scored w 10 something secs left. Gonna cherish that memory forever

It’s hurts to realize we couldn’t keep the team relevant long enough like a place such as Pittsburgh or even Washington, to have wasted so many of the past few seasons with a guy like Kane thanks to incompetence is a hard pill to swallow. The good times weren’t always going to last forever but definitely some potential that was never met. I feel like this trade is a cherry on top of the shit sundae
Really hoping Showtime goes on a total heater for the Rangers. Him being surrounded by elite talent could be a recipe for a long run.
