Giving up Engvall was stupid in my opinion. Very underrated considering who he was playing with. Wouldn't be surprised if he scores 25 to 30 goals next year.

They don't have any rival[s] in their division/conference that would necessitate Reaves being in the lineup. The Rangers and Penguins made some sense but Minnesota? There's no one really terrorizong that div/conf.

If the Leafs plan on making a real playoff run with a goalie who lets in soft goals and one who hasn't played in over a month, they must know something because right now, the only weak spot on the team is in net. Toronto does not have a goalie that can steal a game they don't deserve… and you CANNOT win a playoff round… and certainly not three rounds, without stealing a game or two. When someone can put one in from the blue line, we have a problem. I do like the way the Leafs are bulking up otherwise. I never thought I'd say this but maybe Dubas knows what he's doing afterall.

Also talking about Schenn,not only did he fight and stick up for his teammates.He always completed his checks,as for that he was one of the players in the NHL that layed on the most hits and also blocked a lot of shots.

Leafs add multiple layers and flavors of tough to their blue line at playoff time. Finally. Obviously Dubas finally got the message after too many playoff exits to bring up. Yes Dubas, the game changes come playoff time whether or not you choose to believe it. If you would have listened to millions of leaf fans, with incalculable years of collective hockey wisdom, you would done this 3 years ago when the screams to tuffen up were bordering on deafening. One has to wonder if it's too little too late. Lose out in round 1 or 2, and it's bye bye Dubas. I hope. You can take your act somewhere else.
