  1. Sure, this isn’t a great trade for the Hawks…however, indirectly, they probably increased their chances of landing a Bedard.

  2. Best part is the east are going all out and it’s going to be a war of attrition, west will be a 2 team battle only, Colorado/Edmonton 2.0

  3. On one hand, I am genuinely surprised at how well Kyle Davidson did with this trade given his lack of leverage. On the other, Davidson should have asked Toews and Kane to waive their NMCs as step 1 before the last draft and before dealing away Debrincat.

  4. That Kane trade had to happen to handle the Bruins and on the other hand 97 is a 50 goal clubber who just needs a goalie! NHL hockey is all about super sonic speed.

  5. Gonna be honest – so far Tarasenko hasn’t impressed me (I hope that changes) and we can still easily lose to NJ in round 1. I personally dont like how we match up with their speed. Its scary how much of a bloodbath the east will be

  6. As a bruins fan, this reminds me of the time that Jerome Iginla once vetoed a trade to Boston after a sure done deal, but at the last minute wanted to go to Pittsburgh instead.

  7. Funny thing is only one team from the East will make it to the finals. There will be a lot of playoff hangover in the conference followed by the recognition that few of these players will stick around next season due to cap restrictions.

  8. As a 30 year old Ranger fan.. please for the love of Gretzky please let this work..

  9. It's kind of like the situation with Jerome Iginla. You know what this reminds me of? The situation with Jerome Iginla.

  10. NY Rangers is where dinosaur old players go to retire 34-35 bad hip time isn't on his side

  11. 2 picks, niether is a 1st an one is a 4th lol

chicago is a dumpster fire lol

  12. Boston vs NYR conference final is gonna be must see tv. I’m already pumped for it and I’m a Blues fan

  13. Would love to see the Rangers out in the first round. That would make me happy.

  14. One of these are rentals and won't be around after this season

  15. atm, chicago is going to have multiple 1st rounders in the next 3 consecutive drafts, after having 3 in last year's. chicago is already working on the 2026 draft stockpile, the hawks have added an extra 2nd (lafferty) and a 4th (zaitsev). in the near future the hawks should be have one of the better prospect pools across the league.

  16. I think Kane and Toews decided to fleece Davidson for getting rid of Hagel and decided to dismantle the team before their very eyes.
I think Toews and Kane paid back Kyle Davidson.
Toews decided he wasn't to be dealt…goes on IR, and Kane handcuffs Davidson to make sure he didn't get what he should have gotten for a Kane trade.

  17. it's incredible there was moron Rangers fans who didn't want to bring Kane here

Tarasenko & Kane adds 4 Cups to our roster and proven playoff scorers, which we desperately needed last postseason with Panarin going cold

it might finally be NY Rangers year

  18. as a rangers fan i wouldnt say we're the best team in the NHL but we DO now have the best roster on a player by player/position by position basis – we have two #1 lines (so one is the 2nd line technically) our 3rd line is as good as most 2nd lines and our 4th line is as good as most 3rd lines…unreal)

  19. Rangers will faill with kane like they always do
They do the same thing the Skankees do in baseball
They will achieve less than they did last year.

  20. While the Rangers managed to get Kane at a bargain bin price – so can't really complain – I think expectations for his potential performance is way overblown.
Kane is currently outside the top 100 in scoring and has a dismal +/- which may be indicative of his weakness on defense.
No doubt, Kane is still a great player, but I think his actual impact for the Rangers will not be nearly as dramatic as many are expecting.

  21. As a Rangers fan I love this push for a cup chance, It may or may not pay off, but their current lineup is one I'd invest in. The pieces traded to get here I genuinely don't think would destroy them in terms of development,
