  1. Even though it took a little while for the team to find the will, overall this was a satisfying win. The momentum shifted after that big save from Stew, and the power play was definitely key. And look who was back on the ice: Desharnais. I’m pretty sure the odds favor a win when he plays. Keep him on the team for sure. Go Oilers!

  2. Terrible effort through the first 40. Not even going to get excited until they play like they did in the 3rd for a solid 10 games straight.

  3. Put the 2points in the Bank and dont look back. No time to overthink it now. Torts made one more mistake tonight. Coaching was the difference for the Oilers tonight, barely, but it is a step forward. Rest Rinse Repeat.

  4. Ceci's pass to Broberg for that turnover goal was hard to watch, then nuge's pass to mcdavid during pp should've been a one timer and then he floofs on the second chance lol and as much as I like JP man please just keep healthy scratching him till he gets traded. Mcleod, Foegele and DR are absolute units they need to play more minutes

  5. Vinny D, welcome back! Just need Kane and Kostin back healthy and let’s start rolling! Trade deadline approaching

  6. Darnell, just wondering if you wouldn't mind donating a few $mil to the Vinny Is The Oiler's Best Defenseman Foundation. Vinny gets paid what he's worth and you go to sleep at night feeling great about giving to a great cause. Apparently Uncle Kenny is broke.

  7. The problem with this win is that everyone walks away feeling great but realistically we have been playing uninspired ever since the All-Star break

  8. The PP saved Oiler butts, Flyers were the better defensive team 5on5. Goalies were even.

  9. If the 12-14 main guys on the team can stick together this team is going to be NUTTY this decade. I understand people want to win now but we are seriously walking down the path of the Lightning and just need to stay pressing forward with the weapons we have.

If the goalies can average a 910 each and we get one more UNIT on D we will be one of the greatest hockey teams of this generation.

  10. What I heard from Woodcroft was Campbell was ok but not great.
And Skins made a Huge save for the team at the right time.
When your counting on your Goaltender.
How ever I how much l love Woody I disagree on
They have only one regulation loss in last 16??
The Avs game was theirs! Lost OT
The Redwings should of been theirs Plus the Rangers!
    Lost Both in Shootouts??
All three it’s to me hang on Game ain’t over yet and I was right.

Talking bout Bouchard always had wind-up for the big shot which most time gets blocked.
Or making 2ft sideways passes to teammates that get picked off!
    Should know better.
Definitely not the same from last year a regression.

That gets me too blocked shots which something Oilers are always out worked by the other team.
We had the record breaking player in NHL History Chris Russell for blocked shots.
He wasn’t the biggest guy but he knew the tricks how to defend against bigger players and had had puck sense.
That’s a Testament to dedication. I Hope he’s Enjoying his retirement

I don’t want Edmonton players in front of bullets and getting hurt but there’s a lot of time the ice can be taken away from the opposition.

  11. To attract free agents they just need to have them listen to 5 minutes of Jay. What player wouldn’t want to play for Jay? Such a contrast from the style of coaching going on 3 hours south.

  12. Vinny has to be in the lineup every night in the playoffs right? I’d play him over any of the other young guys, he’s going to be a 3rd pair rock this spring
