I mean, if a GM came to me and said “we don’t want you anymore” and “you no longer fit in our plans” any player in the NHL should wave the full NTC to at least a partial 6 team list or something like that
I say this all the time but there’s not really a word where cp55s contract is more meaningful to another org than ours. We won’t get anything back. I am for the move. But when this stuff gets floated I always feel it’s in attempt to bring down the asking price of a chychrun or someone else who is actually on the block.
I mean realistically I’d keep him. I just wish he would shoot the puck more. Use that size to decimate people. I mean if we had a needle full of Scott Steven’s extract that would help out a lot in my opinion.
So I hear a lot of different opinions of Chychrun, doesn’t seem close to being a “consensus” #1 guy. I assume if Colt sit other d is moved, Doug has a plan/player he’s going for. It sounds like a lot to get Chych…idk seems lateral ish? And maybe he’s viewed as a number 1 nationally, just from listening to 101 and local shows, it seems like so half say he’s #1 and half say ehhhhh I don’t know if he’s TRUE #1
New defense coaches. Pair him with Faulk and leave him. He needs someone else he can rely on so his game can come through.
He was at his best when he was skating the puck out himself into opposing zone. Jumping up on a play. And clapping shots from the point. He had Bou staying home being a solid defender. Then the back injury came and he lost his line mate. And everything went to hell for him.

Ryan Graves is a UFA this off-season. He’s a left handed Parayko, pair those two together. Shoot, maybe get Edmunson back
Krug should be the one going, not Parayko. But then again who the fuck would want Krug for that money.
At the end of the trade negotiation, Parayko can accept or reject? But they don’t have to let him know about the negotiation? It would have to be a team he already let them know he’s okay going to then, right?
